Join Sturgeon Public School Division for the 1st Annual Early Childhood Education Parent Conference, where parents will have the opportunity to attend events and workshops presented by trained professionals, both from within and outside the Division.
With a theme focused on development through PLAY, this conference will feature a fantastic keynote speaker on Friday evening, 15 workshops to choose from on Saturday, snacks, lunch and childcare; all at no cost for Division students, parents and community members.
Launa is passionate about helping people see their own potential to make small changes for a big difference in the lives of those around them. The majority of her career has been spent working with professionals serving young children and families. Her current portfolio includes work with Early Child Development Support Services and some of Alberta’s ECD coalitions, First 2000 Days ECD Network, Café Institute and Motivention, which focuses on the early years and the power of play. Launa is the Founder/Director of Motivention.
