At Sturgeon School Division, 5,000 students are enrolled in 15 schools throughout Sturgeon County and the towns of Bon Accord, Gibbons and Redwater. Our schools offer the outstanding education parents and students expect in a fun, welcoming environment they trust. The division has a long history of educational excellence and is proud of the community atmosphere that exists at our schools.

Top-quality teachers and unique programs keep Sturgeon schools on the leading edge of education in Alberta. Schools offer broad programs with unique and increasing options in fine arts, athletics and career and technology studies (CTS).

In addition to the traditional school environment, Sturgeon School Division provides education through our two outreach learning centres located in Morinville and Gibbons. The division also has a school located on the Morinville Hutterite Colony and operates a school in conjunction with the Oak Hill Boys’ Ranch.
