Career and Life Management (CALM)

Credits: 3 (CALM) or 4 ( CALM with CTR 1010)

Students require a minimum of three credits in CALM to obtain a high school diploma.

The aim of senior high school CALM is to enable students to make well informed, considered decisions and choices in all aspects of their lives and to develop behaviours and attitudes that contribute to the well-being and respect of others, now and in the future.

CTR 1010:  Job Preparation

Students who have not earned credits in CTR 1010:  Job Preparation, will complete this course with CALM.

Completion of CTR 1010 is a prerequisite for Work Experience and RAP programs.


Can I do CALM in the summer?

Completing CALM with CTR 1010 in July is a great way to start your high school experience.  And with flexible hours during July, you will have begun the journey to earn your high school diploma!


Can I do CALM during the regular school year?

Completing CALM with CTR 1010 during your regular school semester is a great way to meet this high school diploma requirement.
