Sturgeon Public Schools has a long and proud rural history. Some of our schools have been in operation since the 1880s, first built as one or two-room schoolhouses to serve the local community. Our schools and communities have grown, but the close and friendly spirit remains.
Our schools allow children to get a fantastic education in the safety and comfort of their own communities. We work together with parents to create a caring and supportive environment where students truly thrive.
We value a close relationship with our communities. We extend the curriculum into the community and invite residents to share their experiences and lessons with students. Students also exhibit great citizenship and civic responsibility in the many food bank drives, charity fundraisers and community activities they champion throughout the year.
