Headstart helps children get a jumpstart on their education. It is designed for children between the ages of 3½ to 5 who need communication and/or developmental support.
The program focuses on building skills in these areas:
Headstart takes a dual approach in learning, offering both in-class and at-home support. In the classroom, hands-on activities and interactive learning make for a rich experience. Families are also given support on how to continue educational success at home.
Headstart is delivered by qualified staff and therapists. It is offered at all Sturgeon schools five days a week during the school year. It is also offered as an outreach Headstart program at the Centralta building in Legal. Locate a School
