The Board of Trustees accomplishes its work through committees that engage in specific topics of importance. There are currently six standing committees that report to the Board and are composed of school trustees. Other ad hoc committees may be created from time to time at the Board’s discretion.
Committee of the Whole
Makes recommendations to the Board on policy, regulations and operation of the Board.

Makes recommendations to the Board regarding advocacy priorities, strategies, and policies.

Audit, Finance, and Human Resources Committee
Reviews proposed budget priorities and three year plans, and makes recommendations on various budgetary issues.

Building and Maintenance Committee
Reviews and makes recommendations to the Board on matters related to the division’s buildings, including construction and maintenance.

Reviews and makes recommendations to the Board on curriculum and instructional matters, as requested by the Board.
