Embracing Diversity in Sturgeon Public Schools
Sturgeon Public Schools will be celebrating Pride Week the week of June 5th – 9th, 2023. The Board believes in the importance of, and is committed to, establishing and maintaining welcoming, inclusive, equitable, safe and healthy learning and working environments that respect diversity and foster a sense of belonging for members of the school community. To honour the importance of inclusive environments that respect diversity, our schools will host a variety of activities during Pride Week that provide opportunities for all students, staff and families to recognize and celebrate our diverse school communities as welcoming, inclusive, equitable and respectful.
